Bartol Hervas
Bartol Hervas was born in Alcoy, a city in Eastern Spain near the Mediterranean in 1954.
He is self-taught, faithful to his public and is an exponent of na�ve art, in that the term has positive aesthetic expression. Poise, good taste and inventiveness play a major part in his compositions.
Human figures feature hugely in his work which covers many themes. His work is playful, and has a sense of innocence and humour.
